Quarterly card repeater - how long does it run for?

I've setup a quarterly card repeat by selecting repeat 'Monthly' every 'Three Months'.  It shows ONLY two dates for the next repeats.

Does this mean

1)  There is a limitation and it will only repeat twice and then need to be setup again

2) The repeat will run indefinitely, there is a limitation on the future dates that can be displayed (see image below)

3) Something else

No, it only explain "This card will repeat at the start of the next month and in 3 months after october" because we are only the Tuesday, September the 15th. The next repeat in october will cut this problem.
