My account is making me open new tabs for items in my search field. How can I fix that issue and why is it happening?

It was a known Bug reported here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-1081.
The fix was already released, to reflect changes please follow the steps:
If you're using Chrome, please follow these steps.
If these steps don't work or if you're using a different browser, please reboot your machine and perform a cache/cookie cleaning.
If you're facing this issue with the Trello Desktop app, please reinstall it.
