Hi,
One of our team members has a visual impairment and uses zoom function to enlarge their computer screen. They have said that with Trello, when they try zooming in, it doesn't enlarge the content in the usual way and they are resorting to leaning super close to the screen - not ideal work environment! It's becoming a source of frustration rather than a helpful tool.
Our team is new to Trello and so far we've been really enjoying it, including the mentioned team member, but if we can't find a way around this usability difficulty then we can't continue with it.
Does anyone have recommendations for adapting it to different needs?
Thanks.
Hi Amy,
Which way is your colleague trying to zoom in at the moment? I just used the browser zoom within Chrome and it made the content on the Trello board a lot bigger as you can see here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/OAuB2X7r. Could you check with your colleague if they have tried this option.
If they have and it doesn't seem to be working properly, then ask them to send us a message to trello.com/contact. This way we can troubleshoot with them to figure out the best way to do this.
We've been putting a lot of effort in to making Trello more accessible recently, so thanks a lot for this feedback as well. We know there are a lot of improvements that we can do to support different people with different abilities to access Trello.
Thanks!
Ryan
Hi Ryan,
Thank you for taking the time to reply and check this out for me. We think we have resolved it now - well she's found a setting that makes Trello easier to use but messes up the view for most other systems. I think that's a device/browser issue though and not a Trello one.
Thank you generally for putting the effort into making Trello more accessible. It's greatly appreciated that this is on the company radar.
As a work team we are all still quite new to it and learning the many functions so I'm sure we will come across those elements over time.
Thanks,
Amy
