Hi, we've recently started focusing A LOT on GDPR and would like to anonymise the names of ex employees on our Trello boards, while still keeping their contributions - So instead of their actual name it should just be 'DELETED USER' or something along those lines.
I haven't been able to find any information about how to do this or if it's even possible.
Any help / information is appreciated :)
If it's not possible I think it would be a great feature to add to Trello, in these times where Data Protection / Security is so prevalent.
Deleting your ex-employees accounts will do this. All the content they created will still remain intact, so long as it was 'shared' content (i.e. they were not the only member of the board).
See https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/deleting-your-trello-account/ and https://trello.com/trust
That's great - What about accounts that we're not able to delete? For example we frequently use contractors that use independent Trello accounts that we temporarily add to our boards?

Trello doesn't provide a way to anonymize user data for un-deleted users, on selected boards, as far as I'm aware.
