Before the new editor; you tag a team member, like JohnDoe1984 by doing:
@Joh and hit enter in quick succession and were on your way, no hesitation or edits needs. You ended up with @JohnDoe1984
In the new editor; you can do the same:
@Joh and hit enter in quick succession and, without fault, end up with your own name, because there is a definite and new lag in this process.
And this lag is causing meltdowns in the office, and we were curious if this is a widespread issue in the new editor. It's both in the App and the browser.
There's a fix! You can disable the new editor by going to the labs page and toggling the option WYSIWYG Editing. This will allow you to use the old editor in the comment section.

This is a problem a lot of people are reporting so you aren't alone.
Use the send feedback button to report this, the more people who do the higher the chance they will move it up their priority list
If you click the give feedback button you will handily find a place where you can switch the new editor off too. Not the best solution because the new editor is nice but will solve your problem.
