Atlassian log in loop for Trello

A member of a shared Trello board is struggling to log into Trello. 

When he tries to log in into Trello, he successfully login but gets redirected into Confluence.

When he tries to navigate to Trello from confluence he gets asked to log in and again is redirected to Confluence. Has tried clearing cookies, logging out, changing browser. 

Can anyone suggest what the issue might be here please?

I have the same issue on the android app. I manage to log in on the web but Android doesn't work. 

Can someone from Atlassian help me?

This user has a Trello account created? Can he try to log in directly to trello.com instead of Atlassian?
