Hello,

I would like to create a board for our team, but the team members should only be able to read the board and not be able to make new lists.

Is this possible?

Hi Dirk!

You have a couple of options. If you want to add folks to the board but not let them edit, then @Danny Zuccaro is correct - Business Class is required to access Observers for boards.

However, you can make your board and keep yourself as the only member (therefore the only one who can edit it) and simply make the board Team Visible. Your coworkers would have to star or bookmark the board, and can’t be assigned any cards, but they can access it and read it without editing ability.

This is possible if you set them to be Observers. That option is available in Trello Business Class. You can read more about types of users in Trello here.
