Did you mean:

Calculate total sum of field values for each Trello board

Darren Fox July 12, 2020

Hello,

I want to use Trello as a CRM/Sales Pipeline. So assume each card is a lead/contact and when I engage with a lead I want to record some lead information including a deal value.

My question is can I enter a value (I assume in a field) and then record a total for all cards in that column/board?

The case is I want to see potential total deal value for all those in a Trello column called ‘initial contact’ and then track card through the pipeline process, then once a deal is a closed (customer has purchased my product) I then can total amount of deals closed.

It would also be useful to know if I can total a count of deals opened and closed per person who is tagged to the card. And the value of pending and closed deals per person.

thank you.

@Darren Fox hi, I am sure someone will reply you with a CRMBLE Power Up so you can check that one out. Or perhaps a Butler / Trello report solution. You should go for them.

I learned yesterday about a useful way to get all the cards across all boards for each member. That opens up a way to generate all kinds of performance reports which i think might be useful to all who needed more customised reporting.
If you are building your own Custom Field Power Up will allow you to create fields you need.

I agree @milynnus

I'll tag in @Brittany Joiner who is our resident CRMBLE whizz!! Hopefully she can give more details!

That’s awesome. Thank you very much. I have seen some power-ups that can show calculation (numerical sum) in Trello itself. But if I needed to go outside of that into some sort of google reporting dashboard then that could work okay too. Obviously the less tools the better. As a small startup I find specific CRM pricing models are out of my price range and I’ve not found anything that works as beautifully as Trello app, drag and drop etc. Only thing that seems to be missing is to be able to easily customise a board view that provides those totals which is common for CRM sales tools. (Watch our CRM competition!)

Appreciate the support guys! 😊

Another question - Any idea why I can’t see CRMble fields in iOS app? Thank you

Hey @Darren Fox !! So you can't see any power-up fields on mobile unfortunately... it's not just a Crmbe thing, it's across all the power-ups. I expect this won't be the case forever as more and more people are using Trello on mobile.

Other than that, how are you liking Crmble so far? We are about to release deal-values that will do exactly what it seems you're looking for in terms of calculating and summing deal value, and you'll be able to see those values in a few different ways in the reporting tab!

Also adding Toni here as he's the founder of Crmble and would be more than happy to help walk you through set up and anything else you need help with there!

Hey @Brittany Joiner thanks so much. I have since posting been in correspondence with Toni. He has been amazing at supporting me with my enquiries and I understand that the functionality I'm looking for is going to to available as soon as today - I think it will be a game changer :D

I'm playing around with CRMble. So far I LOVE it! As a startup it's perfect solution. I've been testing approx 8 other CRMs. None are perfect but every business is different, so best fit is subjectvie.

CRMble gives me the flexibility, level of configuration, integration, reporting I need, and is a very cost effective solution!

I need to think about my flow and the way I want data to flow in and out of the cards and CRMble fields i.e google sheets and my mail campaign software. With some Zapier magic, I'm all so close! :D

I'm sure I will have more questions during the next few weeks.

Ps: this is not a sponsored post :P

Wow what an excellent raving review! I love that!! So glad to hear that it's working out for you :) It's really cause i just recently started helping out the team, and prior to that anytime someone would ask me about a CRM in trello, i was like "yeah i mean it works and can be done...." and then Toni built Crmble and made it so much better!
