Can I add a task/item to Trello from Google Calendar?

Hi,
I can add a new card to a list on trello from an email via my Gmail (that's great by the way)
but Can I do that also with Google Calendar?
I have the same recurring task on my calendar (every Sunday and Thursday) and I wish to add it to my board in some way.
What is the best way to do that?

Hi Ronna, welcome to community! :)

While Trello doesn't natively have that functionality built in, there are a few options available for using Trello with Google Calendar below.

• In Trello Free, the Calendar Power-up is available which allows a one way sync from Trello to Google Calendar, and allows you to import your cards with due dates into Google Calendar through iCal integration: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/using-the-calendar-power-up/#Enabling-the-iCalendar-feed
• In Trello Premium, Google Calendar integration is built in and allows you to achieve a similar approach to the Calendar Power-up - but also shows checklist items with due dates: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/using-trello-with-google-calendar/. Like the earlier, it's a one way sync - so what's entered in on Trello eventually syncs through to Google Calendar.
• There are a couple of Third-party Power-ups that offer a 2 way Google Calendar sync: https://trello.com/power-ups/search?q=calendar. What this means is you can set things up so that cards with due dates added to Trello sync through to Google Calendar and vice-versa. Events added on the Google side will sync back to Trello. Because many of these services are provided by separate companies, outside of Trello, any costs associated with their products are also separate. We're also not able to endorse or provide support for any third-party Power-ups (since we don't work with them directly).
