Can I change t he cover of a link card?

I want to be able to change the main image on link cards and retain the click ability of the url. Is there a way to do this with a power up or regular link card??

I don't think what you want is supported. You have the option to cover to a normal card. You can check whether the link is created for you as an attachment but it would not clickable on the board view. Keeping it as a text CF would be another way to go about this.
