Can I make a checklist that will be added to new cards by default?

I would like to use a checklist on every card that is created, as they are all the same 'item' as it were.

I understand I can copy a checklist, or copy checklist items from another card ....

But can I skip the step of having to add a checklist, and copy the items, every time a new card is created, and just have it be on the card, waiting to be checked?

You can create checklist templates as explained in this thread: Is it possible to create a Checklist Template in Trello?

The Butler power-up will let you automate this, see here for Tips for adding checklists and here for pricing and limitations.

Thanks for the reply and info, sounds like what I am looking for!

I will definitely check out the links and absorb what information I can, excited to see what Trello can do.  Thus far, I've just been copying manually, as I do the initial set up of the board, but hoped to make it easy for collaborators I invite, to just add items, and not worry about the small details.

And thanks for the welcome, trying the whole system out, seems promising for multiple applications and projects I have going on.  I look forward to delving deeper into the capabilities of the boards.
