Can I reduce the size of the cover displayed on a card in Trello?

It seems that the default size for a cover is preset.  Is there a way to reduce the size of the cover?

Welcome @Jan Stevenson 

I'd recommend changing the resolution of your image before making it as a cover, Trello doesn't do this for you.
