Card size enlarged

Hi!

I’ve been using Trello for a few years now and have always had the individual cards open up to one long card – which I like.

Today, I opened Trello and the cards are split side by side, with top half of card info on left and bottom half of card, like notes section, split on right side. See pic below. Also, I’ve noticed that when I hit the space bar in the STU NOTES section of pic, it enters/returns to next line instead of just spacing.

I’ve had issues with this once before, but found it was in Beta Mode – not sure how – but could toggle off. I see no Beta Mode button this time. I have signed out/back in, reset computer, cleared cache – all the normal stuff.

I’d like to get my card back to one long card. Please help – it’s impeding my productivity today. Thanks!

I understand how this change has been challenging, especially for your users. It looks like you and your users are now enrolled in the new Trello Personal Productivity experience. We have been transitioning users to the new experience for a few weeks now. If you’re interested, here’s a blog post that explains more about the new experience: Trello Personal Productivity.

Right now, we do not have the option to switch back to the previous experience. Additionally, I completely understand that adjusting to a new layout, especially when it's different from what you were used to, can feel a little tricky at first. Please let me know if you have additional questions regarding the changes as I’m here to make this transition as smooth as possible! For the meantime, here's a guide that will help:

While this exact functionality isn’t currently available in Trello, you aren’t alone in wanting this as we have had other users interested in having either a wider section in the comments area or the option to switch back to the vertical view. Please be specific on your feedback so we can fully understand their use case. Click the bullhorn icon in the top right header to send your input directly to our product and design teams, who value user feedback as they make improvements.

Also, as a great example of community feedback about the sidebar, we’re making changes to allow easier access to your boards without extra clicks. We're also adding a feature to pin the board switcher (sidebar) for convenient access. Look out for this update at the end of July!
