Changing account email

Hi,

I created an account with an organisation email, and would like to change it back to my personal one. I went to the settings and entered the new email, but never received the email on my personal box to finish the procedure. I tried different email adresses and made sure they do not already have atlassian account associated. I also tried one having an atlassian account, and did not received any email or error message saying I can’t transfer the account there. What else can I try ?

My account date back from 2020 or around, before Trello login changed to atlassian login.

Hi Lauriane, 

Vronik, is correct, that article would help.

But based on your description I believe you have an account for each email, if you already have an account for the new email you'll see the experience you described.

You have two option

  • Log in to the other email (the one you want to use in this account), and schedule it to deletion, you'll need to wait the 14-days deletion period before being able to use the email on your primary account.
  • Log in to the other email, and change the email to a third one. You can create a new email just for it.
