Combing Cards

We are using Trello for emergency management of national disasters, currently wildfires.
Is it possible to combine cards to create other cards? For example, can we have four cards representing four people, then drag them together to create a team? Then, drag teams together to form groups…?

This would better enable us to demobilize individuals without creating all new assignments, etc.

Trello doesn't natively support combining multiple cards to create a new card directly by dragging them together. However, you can achieve a similar effect through different setup:

You can manually create a new card/List called "Team" or "Group".Link the individual member cards in the description or as a comment on the new "Team" card. As members are demobilized or added, update the linked list accordingly. Also, you can add a link to the original card (https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/sharing-links-to-cards-boards-comments-and-actions/) on the new card so that you can refer back to it easily. When you attach a link to a Trello card on another card, it will display a preview of that card, and will show which board and list it belongs to:
