Comments on Trello cards no longer visible

I have a private trello board I use to organise my work, I am a workspace admin and an admin on the board so I should have full permissions.

I have noticed that some of the comments on some Trello cards are no longer visible. For example when viewing the board I can see this card has 8 comments:

But when I open the card it only shows the latest 2 comments:

For this example I know that there used to be more than 2 comments on the card, and I have not deleted them. I haven't noticed a pattern of why some comments are not visible, because on some cards I can still see comments from months ago.

Does anybody know why this is happening and how I can resolve it?

Any help would be appreciated.

After some very helpfull correspondense with the Trello support team, it appears that this was a known issue which occured between 13 and 18 February 2025.

TRELLO-1002 "Comments disappear when the list they were made in gets deleted."

The issue has been resolved and should not occur again.

Thanks for the assistance.

Hey @Alvin Ward - welcome to the Community!

Hmm, that seems strange! I've raised a ticket for you to chat with our support team about this and so we can investigate further.

You can find this ticket at https://support.atlassian.com/requests/TRELLO-214538/ and you'll be emailed updates!
