Copy cards to an other board that changes its name every week

Hi there,

for a project with a big team, we are using multiple boards. One of the boards has a list that is supposed to copy new cards  to another board.

This would normally work well by just adding a rule, but as we are using the add on "scrum by vince" on the latter board, it changes its name every week, with every new sprint. So I would have to go into the rule every week to update the board name.

Is there any way to permanently link 2 boards/2 lists that would enable me to still have this function?

Thanks!

@Laura Thomson you can do this with Butler using a little trick. If you put a card on the target board that changes its name, then you can hard code that card link into a lookup which gives you access to the current board name:

Because you used a "lookup" instead of a "find", the "copy the card" operation refers to the trigger card, whereas the variable {foundcardboardname} refers to the board on which the card you looked up currently resides.

Hi @Laura Thomson , if I'm understanding correctly, I believe you can use Unito to do what you want to do. They have a power-up option that allows you to mirror boards so they are linked. Here is a link that explains it a bit more!
