Custom Field Not Working For Field Value

Hi all, 

I am having trouble with my custom field. I am trying to create an automation from a typeform which will categorise a red, amber, green response. 

When going into the automation, it's not showing colour field value suggestions when I click on the traffic light custom field. 

Rules > Fields > When custom field "traffic light" is set to FIELD VALUE > Select Red, Amber, Green > I should then have options to select from this however, no items are showing.

Any help would be great.

Hi @Ellie Wilson, I just tried creating a similar custom field and I was able to select the different values I had set up (by name/field value though, not by color):

Are you sure it's a drop-down custom field and you added all the values you have in mind? 

Here's what I did:

1. Go to custom fields
2. +New field
3. Gave it a name, selected dropdown field
4. Added 3 options to match your traffic light field (green=go, yellow-wait, red=stop)
5. Clicked create
6. Then, went to automation
7. Rules > Create automation > Add Trigger > Fields
8. Scrolled down to "When custom field (field name) is set to (field value) and I could choose from those three fields.

It lets you define fields that have colors directly set based upon values or wrap custom fields to make them a bit more Amazing with styling and formulas.
