Custom Field for card only

The Custom Field power up is great, but if you don't want them across every card it's a bit annoying.

I've tried in vain to work out if its possible to have them on one card, copied a card with the required fields from another board but no luck. 

Is there a solution to this problem that I'm missing or hopefully the developers could option this into power up?

Why does it bother you?? It shows only on the front card if you made it, if there is no value given it will not shown up.

What is your detailed use case?
