Howdy,
How do I configure a different email address for sending and receiving?
For emails coming from trello to my personal account, I want to use trello@mydomain.com as the email that sends from trello to me.
For sending emails from me into trello I want to use a common mail@mydomain.com that is connected to my smtp to be able to send.
From trello to me: trello@mydomain.com
From me to trello inbox: mail@mydomain.com
How can I have both associated with my account? (The place I found looked like it would change my entire address, rather than add an address.)
Thanks,
Dustin
Using separate "send" and "receive" email addresses boosts privacy and organization. Imagine it as a dirt bike track - one entry, one exit. Moto X3M wouldn't use the same ramp for both, would it? Keep your professional correspondence distinct from personal, preventing spam and maintaining control. This separation enhances email management and reduces vulnerability.
You can forward your emails - to be transformed into cards in your Trello Inbox.
If you are using the same email, as email you have registered as Trello account:
If you are using any other email address
For example, if your Trello account is abd@gmail.com but you want to save an email in your other defg@gmail.com account.
Content of your email is summarized by AI to create a concise card title / description, while retaining original email content as well.
