Do other people see the 429 "too many requests" error for adding a repeat?

When I try to set up a repeat, more often than not I get the 429 Too Many Requests error... but sometimes it works, just the minority of the time...

In the payload I get :

429 - {"message":"Rate limit exceeded: database time for API key","error":"API_KEY_DB_LIMIT_EXCEEDED"}

Refreshing the page etc makes no difference...

Hi Stuart,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It seems you are running into a known issue that is being tracked in the following bug report here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-111.

I have added this post as well to this bug for our engineering team to see and reference if needed as well as align priority. I would also encourage you to visit that bug, log in with your Atlassian account, and click Start watching this issue on the right panel. That way, when the ticket is updated by our development team, you'll be notified via email.

The current workaround is to wait for 20 minutes and then check if you're able to save the changes or a new repeat rule.

Another possible workaround would be to begin using Automation to create cards using a Scheduled rule. We have more information about this new functionality below:

Hope this information helps!

I cannot find the "Start watching this issue" link. How to I report this bug. I have a team of 10 that cannot use Planyway..

Hey Amelie,

The "Start watching this issue" button appears after you log in to your account at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-111. However, this bug report has already been closed. You can check the pinned comment on it from our engineering team.

I also see you mentioned Planyway. The above report isn't applicable to Planyway.

Moreover, Planyway is a separate company from Trello that develops some of the Power-Ups that we have at https://trello.com/power-ups. If you have any trouble with a Planyway Power-Up, the best way forward would be to reach out to them for support because we at Trello don't have much information about third-party apps as they aren't developed or managed by us.

You should be able to contact Planyway using this email address: support@planyway.com.

Hope this helps!
