Due Date Automatically Updating Status to Complete

This has to be user error, but I can't seem to figure it out. Every time I add a Due Date to a card it adds the date but then automatically updates the status to Complete. I'm not trying to mark it complete I'm attempting to add a due date so I can use that to plan my days/weeks for upcoming tasks.

Can you please check if there is any automation rules created on the board that is triggering the card to be marked as completed?

You can either check this by looking into the comment section of the card or you can also check the Activity Logs under the automation to verify if a rule has been triggered.

2 possibilities:

1. (unlikely) The card is already marked as complete when you set the date. 
2. It is possible that somene has set up an automation to mark it as complete.  You can check the activity log for this, you will see via automation as shown below:
