I registered with a company email for Trello. I used to use Google to sign in . The email registered have been closed down and is not being monitored. I need to change my email address , however I cannot complete the verification process as I do not have access to the previous email account. What do I do as I can not loose the information I currentley have stored on trello.
Hi @admin_benonieast !
I totally get how frustrating this situation is. Unfortunately, for security reasons, we're not able to change the email address or password linked to your Trello account without access to the registered email. We rely on that email for verification, so it's super important to keep it up-to-date and accessible.
Here's what you can try: reach out to your former employer and see if they can temporarily reactivate your old email address. If they can do that, you'll be able to reset your password and regain access to your Trello account by visiting this link.
If you’re still logged into Trello on a mobile device or another device, you can create a new account and invite it to any boards you don’t want to lose. This way, you’ll have access to your important stuff even if you can’t recover the original account.
Let me know if you have any more questions!
Hi @admin_benonieast , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your post.
Let me escalate this to the Atlassian Support as I understand you will have difficulty opening a ticket yourself if you don't access the email associated with the account.
Hang in there, help is on the way.
Best wishes
