Hi, is there a way for me to be able to create a form on a support website, that when filled in and is submitted it creates a card in a my Trello board.
Then when that card is created I can discuss the work through that card with the person who submitted the form.
So a form with a particular set of fields that when submitted will create a card in a particular Trello board.
If yes then some help with those correct form fields will be very much appreciated.
Thanks
There are many form apps that will create cards in Trello. Most would write the data to the description field of the card but some would store it as an attachment which makes the access to the for data difficult. Most would not have the ability to update custom fields. There is one that is new that would do that. Some would have webhook and you can definitely do a lot more with that.
Hi @Lee Jones,
Welcome to the community.
It seems you need the Hipporello Service Desk power-up for this. Hipporello allows you to design forms to your needs with its intuitive form builder. Next, you can either publish your forms on your Hipporello portal - the portal is a part of the service desk solution- or embed them on a website.
Every form submission triggers a Trello card creation on the Trello board where the power-up is enabled.
And if you need to do so, you can also communicate with the clients who have submitted forms from within the Trello card. Hope that helps!
Let me know if you have any questions!
