Currently, our team member is attaching a word document into a trello task card. I will then review the document, and if its ok I will upload the document into google drive. if its not okay i will send the document back for additional editing. when i want to upload to google drive, I am currently downloading the word document first and then uploading into google drive. is there any way to drag and drop the file from attachments into google drive?
For example i want to drag "bali with new rates.docx" upwards into the google drive folder, but it doesnt seem to work.
Is there a way to upload attachments directly into google drive without downloading them first?
Thanks all
Hi Josh,
Marta here, from Trello Support.
Those sections that appear on the card back are just to differentiate the different attachment types. However, it's not currently possible to automatically convert a word doc into a Drive document.
This being said, I'll pass your request to our team! If you're curious about how our team decides on what requests we work on, this article gives some insight into that process: http://help.trello.com/article/724-submitting-feature-requests-for-trello

Cheers,
Marta
