We currently have some boards set up under a workspace when we were using the free or the trial version and since purchased an enterprise license. We now need to migrate the free workspaces/boards into specified workspaces along with all the data without losing any data. Any suggestion/advise is much appreciated.
Hi Ravi, welcome to the community! :)
There are a few aspects to your question, but will do my best to point you in the right direction.
For moving boards between Workspaces, we have this guide here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/moving-a-board-to-a-different-workspace/. Note - To move a board to a new Workspace you must be an admin of the board, and a member of the Workspace you are moving the board to.
As far as moving Workspaces (which contain your boards), the process is outlined here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/upgrading-an-enterprise-workspace/
Normally, there are two options. If there are already Workspace members that have managed accounts (and are already part of the Enterprise), they can request to join the Enterprise and then the admin of the Enterprise (you in this case) could approve that request - https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/upgrading-an-enterprise-workspace/#Requesting-a-Workspace-upgrade
The other option would be to claim the Workspace from the Enterprise Dashboard: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/upgrading-an-enterprise-workspace/#Claiming-Workspaces. If you're an admin, you should be able to go ahead and claim it. Main thing to ensure is that both the admins of this Workspace are current managed members of the Enterprise which you're moving it into.
Thanks Oliver. Can you advise if the attachments are migrated too when migrating the board and cards??
