How can I group a set of lists under one heading?

Hi.  In Trello I started with a Backlog and this is now growing rapidly and is ending up with sub-sets within the backlog.

I'd like to breakout the backlog with each subset being in its own list but then group them under one banner/heading of BACKLOG.  Is this possible please?

TIA

Hi Bryan!

Trello doesn't support list hierarchy within boards - all lists are side by side, so there's no way to put a header over a chunk of them, unfortunately. The best way to separate chunks of lists would be to put them on separate boards. So, you could have a board with all of your active lists (like To Do, Doing, Done, or whatever method you use) and then one for your Backlog, with all of your various backlog lists there. Here's an example:

  • Board: To Do
    • List: To Do
    • List: Doing
    • List: Done
  • Board: Backlog
    • List: Work Backlog
    • List: Home Backlog

Etc.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Devon

I thought that to be the answer but thought I'd check.  Maybe it's something a developer should look at :-)
