How do I add sub-tasks (checklist) to my card?

So I'm taking a course on Trello. And instructor has some features in the UI that I don't have in my account. Why is that? I can't seem to add a checklist (subtasks) like what he did in the video. Attached here is what I have in my UI. Take care, thanks. :)

For editing a card, click on the cards name instead on the pencil icon.

The card link on top right corner is limited and as a quick well, I just use it for labels.

If you click the main text of label name after creating or when you go back, it opens via pop up box and on the column to the right (on the pop up) its there.

You seeing the card from the ... access feature, for quick access.

Close that down, and click on the name, it will open up the actual card rather than a summary.  On the right of the card popup is the checklist option to add.
