How do I shift someone from workspace member to being a guest?

Hi, I'd like to shift several contracts from being Workspace members to being guests on one of our boards.  I'd appreciate any help on the topic!  The only options I see are to remove or deactivate.

As far as I know there is no way to shift a workspace member to being a guest. You can first remove the member from the workspace and then add them as a guest to one of your boards. 

You can add guests to more than one board as well. Note, however, that multiple-board guests are billed at the same rate as workspace members.
