How do you modify the notifications to only be pinged on items you are "@"'ed on?

Can you change the notifications so that you only receive a notification when someone "@"'s you? We have a user that is set for instant notifications but is on a lot of cards. That user is receiving too many notifications for simple moves or added items and is missing important conversations on cards. They only want to recieve notifications for when they are"@"'ed. Is there a way to set them like that?

Welcome to the Community! 

It sounds like the 'Watch' option has been enabled on the board/list/cards, or they are a member of the cards, so they are subscribed to all changes made. 

We'd recommend checking if that is the case for the cards, lists or boards they're receiving the unwanted notifications from. Once they've unwatched, they will only be notified when @ mentioned.
