How to create a board to use as a template for others with a shareable link?

I want to create a board that I can share with my students, with a link to share. Is it possible? Just like the ones we take as template, search and see who made that, I want to create one to share as well.

Is it just create a board and then click on a specific button as "create template", like Canva? Or is it just for selected accounts? 

Is it free?

I hope I expressed myself well. Is the same as making something in Canva and clicking on "link for template" and then other can use and edit what you've done.

We offer the ability to create Templates for Premium customers, which are used for creating boards based on the same setup – ideal for replicating a process or workflow. Anyone who creates a board from a template will begin with the exact same content, helping you and your team stick to the structure that you want to use repeatedly.

If you have a free Workspace and don't have plans about having a premium subscription, no worries, any public board can be converted to a template for free so that others in the Trello community (including your students) can benefit from tried-and-tested workflows. 

1. Create a Trello board.
2. Set it up the way you'd like it to appear as a template.
3. Add any co-creators for your template to your board. (Optional)
4. If you have a free workspace, don't forget to make this board public (If you have a premium membership, skip this step)
5. From the board's sidebar menu, go to Menu > More and select “Make template”
6. Convert board to Template.
