It is super annoying when cards get accidentally archived or otherwise updated by yourself or your coworkers. Going through the activity section to see what happened is tedious; nobody on our team likes this functionality. Please give us the ability to disable hot keys.

Thanks,

Jamie

We're facing a case of excessive effectiveness when executing actions. It's true that keyboard shortcuts are fantastic.
The problem comes with simple single-key shortcuts, as they can lead to unintentional activations much more easily and frequently than a shortcut with a combination of multiple keys (Ctrl+c or Alt+c, for example). I think the worst of all is the c key, which archives the card. As you say, this is very annoying, and not everyone knows that pressing z undoes the last action.
I think a solution to these problems would be to implement a system of configurable shortcuts, allowing each user to decide which key assignment they prefer. It may seem crazy, but many programs do it this way (Photoshop and Illustrator, to name two examples).
Until that time comes, be patient.
