I have set up a team space for my entire BU and we have a "General Actions" board.
This is where we place cards per action item that come up in biweekly meetings. Sometimes these actions will need to be done by then end of the week, sometimes by the end of the month, and sometimes even further out.
With everything happening it can be easy to lose track of what action items need to be worked on or updated any given day/week.
What I am looking for is some way to have a notification or summary of actions (cards) to be sent to each individual person on the team. I am aware that you can set a due date and that will tell you a day before that its almost due, that is not enough lead time if something is forgotten. We need something that reminds the manager and employee "here are the things you are responsible for" every week.
Is there a functionality within Trello that can accomplish this?
Hi Nolan,
Crystal from Trello Support here!
Right now, Trello doesn't have a way to send that type of notification to members. However I'll be sure to share this with the team for future improvements!
There is a workaround you could try that should help! Members can visit their "Cards" page and sort the cards that they have been added to by due date. That will show which cards are becoming due: https://help.trello.com/article/819-viewing-all-of-your-cards
