I need Slack channel info to create a Trello Card under a List in a Board

I just enabled Slack and Linked Trello both directions. I need to have messages in a channel "#newlead" (in Slack) create a new card under list "New Leads" under Board "Leads" when info is posted.

I entered ( /trello link "Leads" ) and got this message:

TrelloAPP  12:20 PM
@Ryan changed the default list to New Leads. Ryan 12:22 PM

...but no List is being created in Trello.

Hi Ryan,

This page is a good resource for how those commands work: https://help.trello.com/article/1049-slack-app

The Slack app can't create lists, so you'll need to do that part manually in Trello. the /trello link command is setting which list on the board new cards are added to, so once you create the list and link it, /trello add [teammates] [card name] will create new cards in that list.
