I want in invite someone to join my board. How do I find my "clipboard"? with link

I want to invite someone to my Board.  It tells my to copy invitation link.  It says link is copied to clipboard.  What is the clipboard??  I can't find the clipboard with the copied link in it.

On windows it is the Windows Clipboard (like when you cut, copy and paste in a document)

Do the copy to clipboard again, then go to you email/communication system. Find the person you need to send it to and press CTRL + v on the keyboard to paste it (or if on a mac use it is command + v)
