Importing into trello from XLS

Is theer a way to import my main contacts into trello from MS xls?

You can easily copy a column from your spreadsheet and paste into a Trello card. When you hit enter it will ask if you want to create a single card or one for each line in the spreadsheet.

Without using the API there's no easy way to add additional columns to each card, though.

If you exported them as CSV so they looked like this:

Name,Phone,Email

Then you could copy and paste those lines into Trello and at least then all the info would be there for you to copy and paste eg. into the description or into custom fields.

If you were only doing this once, then that's probably the fastest way to do it (you could do it progressively as you contacted each person, for example, rather than doing it all at once).
