Is it possible to have 'due' cards moved onto a list in my main board?

Dan_C April 7, 2020

I am new to Trello. I see that "Unito" allows communication between boards, but it is expensive.

I have several work and home projects on different boards, and I assign due dates to different cards. I would like when a certain card is 'due' that card to be moved into a list on my main board so I can easily see it and deal with it. Is this possible without using a paid service like Unito? Many thanks!

You should be able to use Butler to accomplish this. For instance, you can make a trigger that if a card due date is today, move the card to "me" board.

If you have any problems with the board you're wanting to move it to not showing up, then you might need to make sure it's part of the same team as the board the tasks are coming from.

Hope this helps!

This is great thank you!

Is there a difference between "when a due date is less than 1 days from now is set on a card" and "the moment a card is due" option?

I think the difference would be the times - ie, if you have a due date on Apr 7 at 5pm, the card wouldn't move to your board until 5pm, whereas if it's less than a day from now, it would move to your board at 5pm the previous day.

So just depends really on how you use times on your due dates and exactly what time you want things to move to your board!
