Is it possible to send a automated email when card moves to a certain list

Hello Everyone,

we run our board to keep track of jobs we have inside our printing company

.I was wondering if there was a way to automatically send a email when a job gets moved to our "ready for pickup" list that just states that your order is ready for pickup.

You may have already solved it, but just in case you still need help, you should be able to do this with Butler Automation. When setting up your trigger, you'll just need to make sure that you specify when card is moved to a certain list.

In the screenshot below, I added custom field variables for the email address and order number as an example.

If you are emailing clients though, you might want to look into a Power-Up (like our Email for Trello Power-Up) because you'll be able to add your own signature, custom email address etc. which might be useful.

You can do this with Butler automation. Crate a Rule and select Card Move as trigger. And for the action select Content and at the bottom you will see email.

However, I am curious about your use casse. Do you do order management on Trello? If so, I would like to talk if we can build an Order Management App with our nocode powerup builder that has an external interface like product listing and order form support. Thank you for the reply, I did do that but it sends them a automated email when there added to the board which I don't want it to do. and then in the body of the email that I have the prewritten wording, it is super busy with trello information. I really just want one email sent out with specific wording.
