Hello,
We have a lot of projects that include small checklists. The copy from another card is a useful feature but as we might also have open projects, the list get unreasonably long. So is there a way that a new card would not automatically add a checklist in it, and would it be possible that similar lists do not copy on that list multiple times?
Hi Harri,
Crystal from Trello Support here.
It sounds like you may be a part of an A/B test that we are running. Sometimes the Trello team tests out some features. They do this by making it so that, in this case for example, you see extended checklists in cards and others may not. The reasoning behind this is to see if one resonates better than the other with users. Unfortunately, it is not possible to opt out of the experiment but it is temporary.
Right now, we don't have a way to prevent duplicate items from being added in a checklist. I will be sure to bring this to our team so they know that you would like to see that happen in the future!
