Is the escape shortcut broken in Safari?

If you open a card, in Firefox you can hit escape to close it. In Safari (Version 18.4 (20621.1.15.11.10)) this does nothing. All the other shortcuts work. Is this a known issue?

Edit: If you stumble across this, a decent workaround is to hit Tab and then Enter -- the close button is first element focused.

I tested here the shortcut (escape) on Safari and it worked just fine. My Safari browser version is Version 18.4 (19621.1.15.111.1, 19621). Maybe try to see if there isn't any new update and also try to clean the browser cache, try in an incognito window. Hope it helps!
