Is there a way to have alias's of cards in multiple boards or lists?

Nick Mattingley February 8, 2019

I want to find a way to create duplicate but linked versions of cards so that they can appear in alternate boards but be updated across all versions. Is this possible?

Hi @Nick Mattingley

As @Jodi LeBlanc suggested, Unito can help you accomplish this with ease. Did you happen to try it out? I'm curious to know what you thought about the application.

Unito (Trello + Trello Integration):

Let me know if you had any questions, or need any assistance at all. I'd be glad to help out!

Hi @Nick Mattingley have you considered using the Unito Power-up?

Unito is a great way to sync (connect) information between Trello boards, letting your cards exist in more than one place at the same time.

The Unito Power-Up lets you sync data such as descriptions, labels, lists, checklists, Custom Fields, comments, due dates, members, attachments, and more. Teams receive real-time updates on what’s happening in multiple boards — without ever having to leave their own. The best part: You can control exactly what information gets synced by using the filters.

Here is a blog post that gives more details:

Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks,

Jodi

Hi Jodi

I’ve run into an issue. I’ve reached the limit on the number of Power ups. Is there a way to remove one so I can add Unito?

Many thanks

Nick

Hi @Nick Mattingley yes you can go to the menu in right hand corner of your Trello Board and Choose power-ups. Click on power-ups, then enabled, and then the settings button, and once you click on that you can disable the one(s) you have active.

For free Trello accounts you get one power-up per board, for Trello Gold you get three powerups and for Business class you get unlimited.

Also if you don't currently have Trello Gold there is an opportunity to earn up to 12 months free by having friends, family and colleagues sign up. Here's a link with more information:

https://trello.com/en/gold

Thanks and hope this helps.

Jodi
