Hello!
I've got the Trello for Gmail app installed via G Suite. Right now using the gmail add-in creates the card with the email as a description. I was hoping for something more like the original, really basic google tasks, which allowed you to link the original email and when you clicked on the "related email", it opened the latest email conversation in the chain within Gmail.
A lot of my work is simply scheduling and waiting on someone to reply. My goal is from within the Trello Board figure out the quickest way to find the original email I created the card from, preferably picking up from the most recent part of the conservation. Right now it just seems like I myself will have to search for the email addresses in gmail which are saved as a plain text description. Are there any plans, or even the possibility, of Trello incorporating two way integration, so Trello can act upon Gmail? I like Trello, but does anyone know of any G suite app that does this or does G Suite for business just not allow that two way integration like it has for it's native Google Task.
That's definitely an interesting point Daniel, thanks for bringing that up. While not possible at the moment, I'll pass on your comments to the team for consideration.
If you're curious about how our team decides on what requests we work on, this article gives some insight into that process: http://help.trello.com/article/724-submitting-feature-requests-for-trello.
Cheers,
Marta
