Hi everyone!
I'm in the early planning phase of developing a call recording app for Android (and potentially iOS down the line), and I'm looking for insights from developers who’ve worked on similar projects or have technical experience in this area.
Specifically, I’m trying to understand the best tech stack, tools, and frameworks for building a secure and reliable call recording solution. Some key features I’m aiming to include are automatic and manual call recording, secure cloud storage, recording categorization, and sharing options. I’m also curious about implementing end-to-end encryption and complying with privacy regulations like GDPR and local call recording laws.
A few things I’d love feedback on:
Is it still feasible to record calls on Android with recent OS restrictions?
What are the most effective ways to handle call detection and background recording services?
Any libraries or APIs you’d recommend for better audio quality and compatibility?
If anyone has built a call recording app or explored this space, I’d greatly appreciate your input especially challenges you faced and how you solved them. Thanks in advance!
Hi, @Aarti Jangid !
You asked your question on the Trello forum. Are you sure you meant to do that? It seems a bit off-topic
