Losing card Activities when moving between boards...

Cards and boards are visible to TEAM members only.

Is there a setting that will preserve the activity log when moving a card from one board to another (in the same TEAM)?

Currently, if someone need additional details for the card, they have to move the card back (and forth) between boards to look at the full activity information...

I don't recall if this has always been the behaviour, but I was told by a few folks here that is used to show all the activity...(is that true?)

Thanks for reaching out!

Right now, when you move a card from one board to another, not all of the card's activity is moved (as you've noticed). The activity history displayed on a card is only relative to the board the card is on.

If you need to keep a card's history, a workaround would be to copy those cards instead.

For example:

• create a card on board A
• move card from one list to another until reaching the Done list
• copy card to board B
• archive original card on board A (which would be accessible at a later date)

That said, I understand it'd be helpful if a card's history remained on the card even if it's moved to a different board so I've flagged this as a feature request with the product team.
