We use Workboard but are thinking of moving to Trello. Workboard allows you to create meetings, which are separate from tasks (equivalent to Trello card). There is an integration which means any meeting created in Workboard is pushed into your other calendars. This is very efficient:
1) You have a view of all your tasks and meetings in Workboard
2) Your meetings are pushed through to your other calendar so you can avoid double booking yourself, e.g. scheduling a work meeting when you're supposed to be going to the parent teachers evening
Is there an equivalent functionality in Trello?
Hi Eric,
Trello doesn't support any differentiation in terms of 'type' of card; a card is always the same, regardless of the content of that card.
We do support showing cards that have due dates on them on external calendars! This example is for Google Calendar, but Trello provides a standard iCal feed that most calendar apps can accept: https://help.trello.com/article/829-using-trello-with-google-calendar
The downside is that this will show all cards on the board, not just what you've designated as meetings, vs tasks.
