Membership history

alameida December 30, 2022

Hi everyone. I was a workspace member. However someone revoked/canceled my member access, now I am a guest in the workspace. How can I document my account's membership history?

Thanks.

Since you're a workspace guest, I'm not sure if this will work but if you can read this API endpoint (replace YOUR_WORKSPACE_HERE with your actual workspace name).

https://trello.com/1/organizations/YOUR_WORKSPACE_HERE/actions

You can look for actions with the type "addMemberToOrganization" and your username which shows that you were once added to the workspace.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Trello does not record changes of permissions and accounts, so there's no way to do this.  You'll need to talk to your admins.

I believe admin knows this and uses this lack of informations against me. I found wierd that I haven't received a confirmation email regarding joining the workspace but I didn't know Trello is a this much authoritarian system. I joined as a member to the workspace, at least is there a way to show that I joined the workspace as member at the beginning?

That's a very weird set of posts.

Why would an admin "use it against you"?  If that is the case, then I suspect your admins are people you should not really want to be be working with.

Trello is a system that has permissions to allow people to do stuff with it, within the confines of what the owners want to allow.  How is that "authoritarian"?

About the admin you are right, admin is already playing three (wise) monkeys.  Admin in the Trello is the only one sees everything, of course it is naturally expected the other users to have limited access. However, besides the accees rights the system does not even notifies a member about the result of their request to join a workspace; admin has a notification about a membership request but the requester has nothing. This intrinsic notification mechanism results in an authoritarian system.
