Is there an easy way to migrate from Pivotal Tracker to Trello? I mean, export and import all project tasks, not triggering each new event.

I tried some options, but they don't work or are too old. The last one I tried was the Ruby gem pivotal-to-trello where I needed to deal with certificate issues, but in the end, it didn't work.

Thanks!

Hello @taq

Does this Pivotal Tracker thing have the ability to export its data in CSV format?

If so, just use a PowerUp to import that CSV data into Trello.

If you don't need to import data into multiple custom fields in Trello, you can also use my free TrelloBuddy app.

Hey @Sunny Ape , thanks for the answer!

Yes, it exports in CSV, I already got all the files exported there, because they will shutdown the app on the end of April.

Didn't know the concept of a PowerUp till yesterday. :-) I created one to try to use https://github.com/recurser/pivotal-to-trello , but initially it didn't work because the code is too old. I made some adjustments on the source code and apparently it imported the tasks, just the user names where kind of messy ...

I'll check how the import was today and if needed will reset and try your app.

Thanks again!

You don't have to build / compile the Power-up yourself. You can just find and install any of the commercial or free ones directly into Trello from the Power-ups site.

Is there a similar option available to import data from the Pivotal tracker to JIRA? I want to include all fields of Pivotal tracker, esp. the comments.
