Hello Trello Support,

I have been registered with Trello since 2020 and have always used the same account. Until last week, I had one important board in my account that I used regularly.

Since last week, this board has suddenly disappeared. At the same time, I noticed that the Trello interface changed (new design / new workspace layout).

  • My account is still active and has an old Butler app key from 2021, which shows that there was at least one board linked to it.

  • Now, I do not see any boards at all.

  • The "Closed Boards" list is empty.

  • I never deleted the board myself, and I did not receive any email notification about deletion or migration.

Could you please check:

  1. If my board still exists in your system,

  2. If it may have been linked incorrectly during migration to Atlassian,

  3. Or if there is any way to restore access to it?

Approximate last access: early August 2025

This board is very important to me, and I would really appreciate your help.

It looks like what happened is that this board was within a Workspace that you were removed from a few days ago. The admin of the Workspace removed you from the Workspace and all of its boards, which automatically removed from that board and closed it. If you know who the admin of that Workspace was, you can take these steps to get your board back:

  1. Go through your browser history or email notifications to find the URL for that board.
  2. Send that URL to the admin, and ask them to re-open the board and add you to the board as an admin. Explain that you will remove the board from the Workspace, so you won't remain as a guest of the Workspace.
  3. Go to the board settings and move the board into a different Workspace that you control.
