Moving Cards moves me to the list I moved it to instead of staying on list I’m Organizing.
This is something new happening that is making my Trello experience not great.
I need to stay on the list I’m moving cards from, organizing, not jumping to new board I move a single card to.
Is there a way to mitigate this or turn off this feature?
@Aubree M_ Andersen You can create card buttons with automation that will do the moving and keep you in the list. I have the same issue as i have one giant inbox that i send all my trello cards to and then sort them out according to respective boards once a week.
I created card buttons for the most common places i move them so when i click a button it moves the card to the board and list i specify.

(Short version of the answer: it is an intended change by the developers, and no setting exist for it 😕)

Gah! Why would this be an intended change?
Moving items from your 'incoming' list into various other lists is kind of vital to project management and requires a bit of human decision-making. Having to scroll all the way back again each time you move a card is a right pain. How is this an improvement?
The only workaround I've found is to put the list you're sorting on the very far right; that way it doesn't jump all over the place when you're sending things elsewhere. (And if that's an error PLEASE don't 'correct' it Trello!)
Lots of these apps seriously lose usability by their incessant 'improvement'. Keep it simple please and don't forget why the people who use your system use it. Like having to click 'more' and scroll down the labels to add labels when before they were all there and you could just scroll. It all adds up in terms of time and annoyance. (Thankfully that one has improved somewhat and most of them are available again now, rather than just the top three).
