Atlassian Team members are employees working across the company in a wide variety of roles.
Perhaps they could create a sharable link and invite you that way. The admin would need to go to the Workspace members tab, then click the "Invite Workspace members" button. On the pop up, they can click "Create invite link" and then share that link with you. Let me know if this works for you.
